final cut express color isolation

i wondered if anyone knows if you can do the three way color isolation in final cut express like you can in the pro version. I consulted the online manual and it said you could but i cant seem to find it anywhere. I'm looking to be able to do the "pleasentville" effect of one color against black and white. Thanks!

I'm not familiar enough with FCE to say for sure, but it's easy to find out.

In FCP, at the bottom of the 3-Way Color Corrector, is there a disclosure triangle to reveal an extra set of tools called Limit Effect. If it's there, you can do it, if not, you can't.

No it does not have the 3 waycolor correction. It's only in the upper level FCP.

Yep, what I thought. I just don't see FCE in person much, I tend to forget what's in it and what' not. A very good reason to step up to FCS!
