Importing

hey there. Im trying to import a .MPG into vegas but when i play it back on vegas there is no sound... i think i have made sure that nothing is on mute. Im new to Vegas as well. There is sound on the video cos it works with VLC

Quicker than my signing up, here’s the solution. Please pass this along. I had the same problem; some PCs are configured in such a way that Vegas encounters a problem importing audio from perfectly good files.

That “bug” was remedied in the b version of Vegas, which can be downloaded from this link:

http://download.sonymediasoftware.com/current/vegaspro80b_enu.exe

The user may not need to download this version. If he’s registered, he should have received an update notice. If he approves the update, the problem will be fixed. He should try to update first. If that doesn’t work, install Vegas from the above link, and use this serial number: - - - - - - -..."

Now says i got a trial version ... i may be able to get a Key but not sure yet. If any1 has one i would be greatful

ok i will have to txt u as i live in the UK and have pay as you go ... cost me a furtune to call
