The YoungCuts Film Festival (est. 2001) presents Great Short Films by The World's Best Young Filmmakers 25 & Under. Every year, our judges review the work of thousands of young filmmakers from more than 30 countries to pick our top 100. www.YoungCuts.com

Our deadline is June 15th, we announce our Top 100 films in July and we program them during the Festival the last week of September.

We have a great Animation prize this year including a spot in a one day Animation Masterclass being given in Montreal by veteran Disney animator Andreas Deja (he designed Scar amongst many others) http://www.youngcuts.com/news/youngcuts_animation_prize

We have a contest around our 2012 Poster to encourage people to post it up where filmmakers can see it. http://www.youngcuts.com/news/youngcuts_poster_and_contest
