Recording Tutorials

Hi

Can anybody tell me what software you need to record tutorials.

I want to be able to record my procedures for some of my editing techniques on Premiere pro. I have seen plenty of online tutorials that show the mouse pointer on screen.

Is it literally a camera pointing at the screen or is there software that records the screen actions??

It's neither of those. It's actually an output of your a/v to a recording device that's recording everything you are doing while you are shooting your tutorial. Then you edit everything together. If you have any further questions or wish me to elaborate I'm here for you man! Good luck!!
