Hey,
My name is Daniel, and I am from Reno, NV. Anyways I have a few questions that I think can be best answered by all of you out there.
I have been using old video camera's and my 17'' MacBook Pro w/ iMovie to make some good videos. Now I am looking into getting a better camera though. I want it to be HD, and good overall. I have read alot about every camera out there these last fews days, but would still like some more input. I will be making a Skiing/Snowboarding video this winter (if it ever snows here), so the camera has to be a little tough. I will take great care of it though of course.
Here are some questions:
First of should I get a Tape or a Hardrive camcorder? I have read that the tape camcorder's work better with iMovie. Is that true? It seems alot simpler to have a 60 gig hardrive.
Secondly... I have read that the new iLife (with a new iMovie) is horrible! Is it not worth it?
Lastly... what should I get? I have been looking into the Sony series. Those look really nice (my digital camera is a sony and I love it).
I know that this comes up every day, but I had no where else to turn.
