Pen Tool?

Is there anything similar to the After Effects pen tool in Final Cut? I know about the 4 and 8 point mattes, but I am trying to figure out a more precise way to cut something out...

There are some free mattes with more points for FCP out there. And Motion has the same sort of matte tool as AE. FCP isn't a compositing app, it doesn't have the matte pen tool. That's AE, Motion, and Color.
