The cheap way that works pretty well is to get the big metal venetian blind-type shutters on a big HMI like a 12K.
The most common way is to rent a Lightning Strikes unit.
The old fashioned way was with scissor arcs, which were very noisy, maybe a little dangerous.
Not that smacking metal shutters open and closed is very quiet.
