I am currently starting a film post- production company, but I have no idea as to what equipment to buy. Can someone give me a list of everything I would need to get the company at hollywood status? I am on a buget, but I do want top-notch epuipment. So, can anyone help me?
I don't understand the point of the question. If you don't know anything about post-production equipment, how do you even know you want to start a post-production company? Plus there are many specialty branches of post-production, including sound post or digital intermediate work.
I mean, do you want to get into film transfers (telecines like a Spirit), color-correction bays (like one with a DaVinci), sound mixing rooms, efx suites (like an Inferno or Flame station), etc.?
