What are my options to create a workflow that implies doing my last trims on Avid (Adrenaline and Nitris?)

My idea is to create almost ended videos on Final cut Pro 5 by myself and expend a last day or two on an Avid Nitris to do the final touches, mixing audio and output the stuff...

the videos are industrial video and small budget commercials that requires more effects that Final Cut can offer me...

THANKS IN ADVANCE

List what FCP can't do for you. My guess is that it actually will do everything you need it to. I get this a lot in my classes, "It'd be nice if FCP could do..." And I then tell them how it does that specific task.

I would agree with Ben that if this is industrial and small commercials as you mention then you can probably do it in FCP, especially if it originated on DV. Make no mistake, and Avid Nitris (D|S, or Symphony) are fabulous systems that are great to online with and can do way more in terms of finishing than FCP but to finish on them would require (at the least) pulling and EDL and recapturing. Then recreating your effects as most cool ones won't translate with a simple EDL.
