DVX-100?

Good camera? pros and cons if you have them. Is there an equivalent? Also, if you can suggest a good matte box and follow focus that goes well with it, please let me know.

i have a dvx 100 and love it. really easy to use and comfortable for live music and action stuff.

shoots in 25p which is cool to

only thing ive found is that it can be expensive to repair so if you get one insure it

Quite frankly the best SD solution on the market; it has it's fair share of problems but I have use about 4 different cameras, including the venerable XL2, but nothing has worked for me like the DVX100, but I am just one person...

I got one for graduation and its the first camera I'd ever used. The
learning curve isn't steep at all and it still takes great quality shots in 24p
which is a nice thing. My short movie was shot with one so it might give
you a good idea what to expect. I'm sure someone with more experience
could get even more out of the camera...
