Do the big studio still shoot film?

I know many indie use video ,but what do hollywood use if video how do they get in the Theaters,I understand most projectors or set up for Film?

If you read anything in ASCmag you'll see that the majority of films coming out these days are still shot on 35mm film.

Most Hollywood films and some TV shows and commercials are still shot in film.

Many of the old school DPs, like Roger Deakins-- don't intend to switch over to digital.

Most feature films are shot on film still. The television industry is shifting to digital though. At this point, I think it's difficult to convince the producers to allow for shooting film-although its not exlcusive yet.
