I am producing a series of instructional videos for teachers on the subject of special education. The budget is very small but I have a little money for music and instead of the usual royalty-free tracks I am considering working with a composer for a theme and background tracks. My thought is to variations on School Days (When We Were a Couple of Kids). That song was copyrighted in 1907 so I am hoping it is in the public domain (you will have to check that out). I am looking perhaps 6 or 7 cuts of about 1:00 each (maybe longer) with varying tempos from very simple piano (slow and light, childlike), to with some cuts with heartfelt strings (for caring teachers, happy kids footage).
