    I've seen some contraptions where the camera is on a harness attatched to a person's torso. You could buy or make something like that, then attatch the camera in a way that it is facing up. But if it's a shot looking up form the feet, then what I might try is maybe a type of dolly underneath...

    As a young filmmaker myself (I'm fifteen), really any movie that you can watch and at the end go, "Wow. That was incredible" is a good movie for you to watch. The inspiration for me to make movies was Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.

    Flying without a harness

    Yeah, I've tried your idea in a little experiment I did on Microsoft Movie Maker where I simply used Paint to cut and paste images into a single frame to make it look as if there were two of me.
