    I been wondering lately on how does ASC invite DOP's to their guild? how do they select an individual? What are some of the things they look for ? and what can one do to try and be apart of it? Thanx in advance :D

    Re: Re: Well if you want accurate framing for your film its very crucial I would spend a few $100 more and get a reflex camera specially if i was a beginner. its better you spend a lil extra now then have to spend later to upgrade. :D :lol:

    Re: Re: Well Panavision cameras can only be rented any how the arri cameras can be bought Panavision cameras are more industry standard but the arri's are pretty close too but majority of the arri's are usually used to shoot indipendent films.

    RE RE You told me its a bolex, but there are a lot of bolex's is it a h16 or the rex series? and is it spring load or does it use batteries? most battery operated camera are non sync but with bolex i am sure if you look on ebay you can buy this crystal sync motor for your camera...
