The "Conversations with Andrew Laszlo" was excellent. I learned a great deal and enjoyed it very much. Below are links to some pictures I took.

Hopefully we will do something with Andy in the near future. We got to hear about and see examples of Andy's work "The Warriors" , "Newsies", "First Blood" and "Star Trek V" . I really got a great deal out of hearing about the special lighting tricks he used on "First Blood and Wariors" where I think he gave us a few of his secrets! We watched scenes from several of his movies while Andy used a lazer pointer to highlite areas he would then talk about his methods for producing that particular scene and look. Andy talked about everything from lighting to composition to politics and answered our questions. We could have spent a few weeks going over the vast knowlege Andy has about each filim.

Also, of great interest to me was when Andy talked breifly about new film technologies and digital aquisition and how it has affected what you see in movies these days and how much easier it is to do it.
