I watched war of the worlds again today. I didn't like the creatures or the tripods. I don't think it looked like the creatures were even built to walk in earths gravity. They only had one leg but they didn't hop? I think when you make a creature for another world it has to look like it obeys the laws of gravity. The movie was entertaining. I liked the first part the most when everyone is freaking out over the machines. Dakota Fanning did a great job on this. I look forward to seeing some of her recent work.
