The absolute cheapest HDV camera

What is the absolute cheapest HDV camera? I am mostly looking to experament with the format, and I need a decent camera anyway... all I have now is a broken hi-8 camera... ha. I am seriously looking for the most dirt-cheap HDV camera anyone knows of.

Sorry if I posted this in the wrong forum, I just saw the camera forum after I posted this.

Anyway though... basically what I'm looking for is something high def to shoot video storyboards, youtube videos, and just general other things, and when I go to shoot actual films I am going to rent something sweet and expensive. I just need to find something to have for everything else.

i think the cheapest is canon's HV20... its $950. It seems to be a pretty good little camera.

I don't know if it's the absolute cheapest, but it's darn cheap... and the cheapest that does 24P for a film look. I'd definitely take a look at it.

Also just announced is an AVCHD mini-disc DVD camcorder from Canon called the HR10 that is basically the same as an HV20, just not an HDV tape camcorder:

I think I'm going to opt for an even cheaper camera. Not HD, but I'm thinking about getting a Panasonic PV-GS300 or PV-GS320. I wouldn't use it for anything professional at all, but I think it would suit my purposes.
