My 11-year-old is into digital still work big time and he now wants to get into video. I'm into 16mm film and know NOTHING about this stuff.
He wants a camera for Xmas, but I DO know enough that I can't afford to get him a good semi-Pro model until a few months later.
What camera can I get at a reasonable price that will give him a few months of use/learning, and which I can inherit to just play around with when I get him the real thing? Of course, he'll need something for uploading to the computer for editing.
