Hi again,
I recently aquirred a Tascam DA-P1, student fire sale (used) 90$, and I have some questions about DAT tape and digital transfer. Anyways after searching the web I have found information stating that you can use a S/PDIF cord to connect the P1 to a digital recording device. I'm pretty sure its not that simple so I was just wondering if anyone had any information on how to make this work. Or any other info on getting DAT tape audio into Final Cut and matching to HDV.
