Super Wide Angle Lens Question?

I just bought a titanium .042 super wide angle lens. It works great fits in perfectly. Its just I get a little bit of a circle on the right side only. Like on cheaper ones you get that circle but I tried out a .045 and I didnt see a circle I may of not been looking but is there a reason for this if I zoom in a tad it goes away. What might be causing this its only on the right side which is weird.

or is this perfectly normal?

The effect you described is called barrelling (I think I misspelled it). Where the sides of the frame are rounded. The fact is that, it doesn't matter whether its a less wide lense than that other one you described, the one with the barrelling is not a high quality lense unless it is a super-wide angle lense designed to be rounded on all sides. If that is the case and is supposed to be rounded, then you bought a poor quality super-wide angle lense. I would get my money back.
