Super 8 Scanning Query - Filmed 24fps Scanned at 18fps

Hi there. I was wondering if anyone knows of a possible solution. I filmed a couple of different cartridges of Super 8. Both films were filmed at 24fps but (likely my fault for not specifying) but they have been scanned in at 18fps. I have corrected the speed in Premiere with jerky results but this is acceptable for the street scenes with no dialogue. However, I was recording audio to sync on the other film but even after making the relevant speed adjustments the audio is drifting. Is there any solution or am I stuck with it?

Is it cost-prohibitive to go back and scan it in 24fps?
Where did you scan it?

Funny I was thinking it might be an option but you are talking £50 so not exactly cheap. Was wondering if there was a software editing cheat.

I don't think there is but then the one thing I know for sure is I don't know everything. Is it possible to just do the parts that you find unacceptable for your work?
