Simulating Narrow Shutter Angle

I'm shooting on the Arri SRII this weekend, and want to simulate a narrow shutter angle (I don't have the means to change it on the camera I'm using). Is there any way to simulate it without over cranking (I don't have enough film for that)? I'm assuming no, but I figured I'd ask anyway.

Not really -- either you need to close down the shutter angle for a shorter shutter speed, or increase the frame rate for a shorter shutter speed and then remove frames to get back to 24 fps.
