Simple question

hello i've got a simple question but it still needs to be answered. I've bought a sony vaio ar190g laptop from us seller, to use it for editing my footage that i've shot on canon xl1 hd(pal). But i can't even install the adobe premiere pro, because it's just crashes half way never mind to go through my footage. What shall be done?

I'm not sure how much help you'll be able to get here with that...sounds like more of a computer problem to me...
