screenwritng program

im looking for a program that will automatically format my writing into screenplay form, i know its probably an indispensible tool for every screenwriter, i dont know of any.

Without a doubt, I recommend Celtx.
It's totally free and very powerful. I have used Final Draft before and to be honest, Celtx is better (in my opinion).
If it doesn't cost, you should try it!

I have both, and I'm sticking to Final Draft . But from what I've seen, Celtx is a very good deal for the price (i.e. free) and I'd use it over any other free script software I've seen.

I use Final Draft but I'm looking into Celtx. I like its full preproduction suite and the ability to share projects over the web.

Wow. I had no idea a free scriptwriting program was so easy to get a hold of. I'm downloading Celtx right now! Thanks for the tip.

Final Draft has a free download that lets you write scripts up to 15 pages long. It prints with a watermark, but if you're writing shorts it's fine. The full software isn't cheap though.
