In my opinion the second one is better. The first one seems like something that's been done way too many times. The second one has a lot of originality. Best of luck to you on your film.
Although several others before me have said this....I'm still gonna say it.... Go with the 2nd one.....the 1st 1 hs been done a far too many times.....Although a very famous person had once said tht there is nothing new in the subject of cinema...everything has been touched at least once...meaning the 2nd one also has gone under the scissors.....u go ahead....it's the treatment tht ultimately matters.....
i agree the second one seems to give you more of a chance to expand any ideas you do have
but this is not to say that you can not or should not pursue writing the first one as i feel that if you have these ideas wheres the harm in expanding them into a screenplay
