Thank you for your interest in the film project/screenwriting collaboration for pay.
Below is a description of the two main characters (change the names if you like)-- write a scene (u choose the length but no longer than 3 min.) Charles knows Cindy's boyfriend (his best friend) is the one spreading rumors about her. He's also good friends with her and he also has a huge crush on her but lacks the confidence to tell her they've been friends for a long time. He’s not sure what to do but as they talk she keeps saying things that make him think it is now his time. She really doesn't like him though she enjoys cuter more popular boys. She is simply spilling her guts. She ahs no idea what he's really thinking.
Email me the scene ASAP. As I have a deadline to finish writing this by April 30. A little bit about me: I am a NYC middle school Media Teacher. I am also an independent filmmaker. This project combines the two vocations as it is partially funded and sponsored by the NYC school. As you know there is not much pay involved in the collaboration of screenwriting ---although negotiable depending on what I see. Most important is creativity and reliability. I need to be able t trust whoever it is I am working with. Frankly there has been a much bigger response than I expected and I am a notoriously bad or disconcerted decision maker. I only need people whose passion and integrity exceed their desire to make a quick but probably not easy buck and who can be reliable. I will also be looking later for an assistant producer, possibly director or assistant director, and a crew. This is a low budget production but pay is available depending on experience.
We would most likely pick a time to meet up ONLINE and do it via IM or email. You will get half pay in the beginning half at completion. You can be paid via Paypal or via mail.
I also have another project in the works--- The idea/premise is still in its beginning stages but I’d like help developing and writing it as well—if you think you are more interested in working on this project please write a scene for this one instead.
Brian has just learned his wife is pregnant with their second child. He is 35 years old and still has dreams of making it in the entertainment field. He wants her to have an abortion. he’s not a bad guy he just thinks they cannot afford a child. She doesn’t want to get rid of it cant fathom it. She even throws back at him the fact that he was raised Roman Catholic.
(Again this story is not fully developed and I’m not sure of its potential to develop into an interesting, fulfilling story.)
