Hi! I gotta say it's great to find such a supportive community for aspiring filmmakers..

I am in my first year of film-production program at my school and we have to make our first 5 min short with a 16mm Bolex camera. I've been sort of techno-phobe all my life so it's been really daunting so far learning but not really registering everything we're supposed to..

To add to the stress, my story takes places at the beach and it's Vancouver here so there's a good chance that it's gonna rain or be cloudy.. I want sort of slightly overexposed, airy feel to the short and create an illusion that it's sunny. I want it to be soft and warm...With the all the F-stops and color filters, blah blah I am really confused as to what would make it look the best in the cloudy/rainy weather

I'd really appreciate any kind of advice you guys can give me. :)
