Panasonic AG-DVX100B

I am planning on buying a semi-professional camera. I have read good thing from C-net about the Panasonic AG-DVX100B and I like that it can shot in 24p. I am looking for the best picture quality for the buck and I don' t want to go HD. I was wondering if anyone has this camera and can give me any personal feedback.

I am open to other camera options as well if someone has a better recommendation.

Don't have one, but I have edited footage shot on the DVX100 and it looks good: is the B model the one which can shoot true 16:9 rather than letterboxed?

Certainly if I was going to buy a DV camera it would be high up my list.
