My TV show got nominated for some local awards

Hey guys, sorry to put this here but I've been lurking the forums here for awhile and been subscribing to Student Filmmaker ever since I got out of college. When I get out of college about two years ago, I felt like the experience didn't do much for me. I learned a lot of cool history and philosophy on filmmaking but I felt like I didn't get enough time to bang out my ideas. So I decided to put together a show for our local public television here where I could just hammer through ideas I wanted to do or try in a semi-professional environment before I tried to go any further. Cool enough, my TV show has become something of a hit here in Seattle. Surprisingly a lot of people seem to watch and like my show. And crazy enough, two years after starting this journey, my TV show has been nominated for four local television awards.

My show has been nominated for
- Most Creative Show
- Best Locally Produced Show
- Best Arts & Entertainment Show
- Best New Show of 2009

What's cool is I've won awards for past student projects or various projects I've been involved with. However, this is the first time that something that's entirely mine has been nominated for something.

The voting for the awards is being done online at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=qOBKeAyIOoNRvBBKcKprYA_3d_3d

If you could find the time to visit that site and vote for NUCLEAR CHEWING, I'd take it as a great favor.

The Awards Ceremony I'm being told will be broadcasted and webcasted live on November 19th. Look for me to be extremely inebriated and making a complete fool out of myself.

If you're interested in learning more about my show. Please visit http://www.nuclearchewing.com

We're on in Seattle and surrounding neighborhoods at 11:30 PM Friday Night and re-runs 12:30 AM Saturday Night (Sunday Morning) on SCAN TV (Channel 77 on most TVs)
