I love this question! My idea is ready to roll: A reclusive musician discovers that the haunting melodies she hears in her dreams are transmissions from a distant, dying civilization seeking salvation through her music. Storyboarded, visualized, and I’m itching to bring it to life. What about you.

A down on his luck guy, desperate for money botches a robbery of a diner and finds himself surrounded. In the middle of this melee he discovers he has the winning lottery ticket. Now, he is not only negotiating with the police, he is cutting deals with his "hostages" to try and get out of this mess.

A one-set idea (I was challenged by a producer to write a script using a single location), scripted, boarded, etc.
