kodak 500 expression

hi!
what do you think about kodak´s expression stock. is it a good choice to start with it to achieve a pastel, low-color, low-contrast look?
i was wondering if it´s better to use a "normal" stock and achieve a similar result through set dressing, costumes and post production.

If you want a lower-contrast look, then using Kodak Expression 500T or Fuji Eterna 400T is a good idea, unless you don't like the grain structure and would rather use a 200 or 250 ASA stock and somehow lower that contrast. In 16mm, you may find that these two low-con stocks are somewhat grainy outdoors in daytime.
