I think Avatar was an exceptional 3D movie. The CGI combined with the 3D is part of what made the 3D work so well.
The second movie i saw using 3D was The Last Airbender and it was not even slightly as impressive with the 3D element. I would have rather watch it without the 3D or the 3D glasses. I didn't see anything that was really cool at all. So is it hit or miss with movies?
Has anyone seen another excellent 3D movie? Is it going to be around for awhile this time or is it a fad and just a cash cow for the movie makers making 3d for now?
