I NEED HELP BADLY...

Ok soon I will be shooting a horror movie and I do not know much about SOUND. So basically my question is what is the best mic for me in the 100-350 dollar range for me to get. I basically want to pick up what the actors are sayin ( dialouge ) all other sounds can be added in editing. I heard the MKE-300 is a very good mic, but I dont know. So please give me advice on what kind of mic I should get, and what other accesories I might be needing.

ALSO I KNOW ITS TOTALLY THE OPPOSITE BUT WHAT WOULD BE THE BEST WIDE ANGLE CONVERTER LENS TO GET FOR THE CANON GL2???
