a good easy camera to own is a Bolex 16mm... or an imitation, but be careful what you buy, its important not to buy scratch lenses etc...
if your looking for something that can do 16mm and Super16mm an Arri camera is about the right one, but watch out those are about 20 000$ for a newish with lens...
the Bolex is around like 300$ for a good one..
best and easiest place to buy.... EBAY? cause 16mm cameras are hard to find

btw 16mm is usualy without sound, unless you plan on making Non-sink-sound films
