Im a junior in highschool ive always wanted to get into the film industry ever since i was a little kid when i saw this tv show on discovery kids when they showed how they filmed stuff. Me and my freind have created a little production company and we have made acouple of shorts . I also do some myself, this summer me and my freind hope to shoot an independent feature and enter it into a local film festival. I really want to attend full sail i heard it was a really good school. I also heard that its not worth going to filmschool. But i think filmschool is right for me. I need honest opinions on film school, and about fullsail too if anybody knows. I plan on becoming a director in the future. But i relize that i have to work myway up the ladder which im fine with thankyou

I think if you are generally good at staying focused and you are really good at learning stuff on your own you probably dont need to go to film school because I think you might eventually figure things out for yourself.

But, if your the type of person that daydreams about things and ideas a lot and you find it hard to write things down and follow through on your ideas then film school might be the right place for you because it will teach you how to keep focused and give you a structure to work with. That will make life a little bit easier.
Hope that helps and good luck, now i'm off to write my own questions filled post :)
