Hey all,

Just a short one to say howzit. I live in Cape Town, South Africa and study at the Centre for Film, Media and Visual Studies at UCT. This city is inundated with people making adverts and more adverts and a few films here and there, but competition makes asking questions difficult and getting answers impossible, but that's Africa baby and you tend to cast the proverbial blind eye.

SO here I am, with all my questions and hopefully a few answers.

Howzit phoenixuprising,
I'm also stuck here at the very tip of Africa, just a little north of CT. Studying audio-visual communication at the university of Johannesburg. I've know what you mean about trying to get help and experience, most people in the industry don't give a hoot about the newer guys. I got treated like dirt at a recent convention in Jo'burg because I'm a student, and not a working professional.
