hello! my name is max, and im 16 years old. i normally shoot photography, but my a few years ago my father bought a hi16 bolex palliard. i believe its a reflex(forgive me if im wrong). anyways, i used it as a prop for my photography project, and it got me thinking if it still worked. so i wanted to try it out.
are there any tests or things i can check to see if it works? i dont know much about this camera, except that its got a much bigger lense than most, and a electric film motor/larger film magazine. not sure what size the lense is, but i do know it says "SOM Berthiot" on the lense cap. also have a few other lenses for it. i found some 16mm film on b&h for $25 for 100'. is there a cheaper place to buy this?
