Guidance needed for new screenwriter

I am a newbie with little knowledge about the nuances of screenwriting, is there anyone who can communicate with me and guide me a bit?

Begin by reading Syd Field’s book on screenwriting. It’s an easy read. It provides a formula that speaks to an audience’s expectations. I taught screenwriting before I retired. Here’s a link to some videos I created on the subject: Act One - Act Two - Act Three
