First time Mac buyer

Hello,

This is my first post. Forever I've resisted the call to buy a Mac, but I can't resist anymore! I found someone who's willing to sell me this MacBook Pro for a good price, but before I go for it, can someone please advise me on whether or not this is a good machine for editing?

It should be good enough for editing video and even music. But perhaps if you were to try and venture into 3D it might be a little pushed. It all depends on what level of video editing your talking about.

If you wanting to do HD editing I would suggest getting something more in the line of a Mac Pro....
