Okay, so here is a list of things I am looking for in my first camera, ie. what I'll be using it for and what equipment I have to work with right now:
-I have a computer with a CDRW drive and a DVD drive(not DVDR), 512 MB RAM, an ATI Radeon 9700 pro Video Card, and aroudn 120 gigs of memory.
-I want to be able to film decent quality images with superior sound, one thing I am strong on is the sound quality for 'immersion' purposes in a film.
-I will be using this camera to make short films and eventually try to make a
60-120 min horror film, so it needs to definitely have the capability to work in sync with my home PC for editing purposes and have a lot of memory so I'm not running footage back and forth to my home PC.
Any comments/thoughts are greatly appreciated. Thanks.
