Female actress needed for UCLA Design | Media Arts short student film, a re-interpretation of a Japanese independent film called "Snake of June" by Shinya Tsukamoto.
The ideal actress has the following characteristics:
Ethnicity- Japanese actress in film, but any Asian ethnicity will be appropriate
Hair- Dark, short-cut a plus but not a must
Eyes- Dark
Age Range- 25-40
Body Type- Slim
Actress will be asked to film a few different dramatic scenes, largely taking place in an indoor setting; separate (relatively brief) photo shoots will also be necessary in order to create props used in the film.
Shooting will take place during May and possibly first week of June, project is due June 8th or so.
Shooting will most likely be done on the weekends, depending on week-to-week availability.
Film is for a UCLA class, Desma 153A "Design for Video"
Credit in film will be given, as well as a copy of the final DVD (useful for casting calls etc.!)
Screening of class work will take place during first week of June on UCLA campus.
