Education or Experience?

I'm soon to complete a Diploma of Screen and Media and was wondering what I should do next year. Would it be more beneficial to go out and get a job in the film industry straight away or to continue onto further studies to gain a Bachelor in film?

Study but apply for jobs anyway until you get one. It's not a certainty that you'll easily get a job in film, even if you are qualified.

That's what my college advisor keeps telling me, too -- networking is key, even if it can seem a little slimey sometimes. The right connection can determine if you make it or not, so talking to your professors and interning is super important
