Up to $10,000 for the short script. Up to $25,000 for the filmmaker to shoot it.

Writers can't judge writers. Filmmakers can't judge filmmakers. Everyone receives a massive amount of feedback.

The filmmaker owns 100% of the film. Writersandfilmmakers.com owns 0%.

Hi Kim,

The purpose is for everyone to use as they like.

But for the winning filmmaker, we plan on supporting them through the "exchange". How? We will be printing out biz sized cards and hiring someone to hand out 'exchange' cards to filmgoers from the winning filmmakers city. We want to help the winning filmmaker by breaking down the script and seeing what tools/props etc people have in that city and are willing to lend to the winning filmmaker. That way the funds we provide go further! The film looks better and it drums up local support.
