"Someone has a snake: it becomes a part of the act"
The smell of freshly made popcorn and excited chatter filled the air as the lights lowered in the small theatre. Murmurs of anticipation spread as the audience waited for the headline act of the night.
Suddenly, the curtains opened and much to the audience’s surprise, a figure stepped out holding a large writhing snake in one hand. The audience gasped.
The figure belonged to Lucia, a mysterious and daring performer, well-known in the area for her death-defying acts - and her pet snake. As the orchestra began to play, she unravelled the animal gently and slowly, allowing it to curl and slither around her body.
With every twist and whirl, Lucia and the snake moved in smooth and captivating circles. The music seemed to be radiating from their very bodies as the crowd watched in awe.
Lucia’s snake shows had become a sensation! She was daring, bold and willing to take risks that no other act had achieved before. She and her snake always managed to maintain a level of grace and control which wowed the audience.
As the night came to an end, the audience clapped and cheered as Lucia took her final bow. Her animal companion coiled around her one last time before it returned to its crate. Lucia smiled brightly at the audience, feeling a sense of pride for what she and her snake had achieved.
Once again, Lucia proved that the bond between her and her pet snake could be used to amaze and bring joy to the audience. The act had gone perfectly and the snake was certainly a key part.
