Countdown: 60 Pple Epic Action Film

Hey Everyone!

I'm a lil' knew here so I'm not sure whether I'm posting at the right place. Please excuse me. Anyway, I have been working on this 30 minute film, Countdown, for the past 3 months. Shot with a wide spectrum of random handycams and an XL2, DVX100B and a PD-170, Countdown is essentially a huge 60-70 people production. Organizing everyone was admittedly rather difficult to carry out because we only had one and a half days to shoot everything due to location constraints.

Anyway, I shall quit blabbering and let the production speak for itself. I've been told that actings a bit under par but I think its the best we could do as 16/17 year olds in high school.

Synopsis:
A cop desperately trying to hide a dark secret, an opportunistic mob boss, and a seemingly innocent office worker victimized by circumstance: Each of them driven by their own selfish motivations. Little do they know that when their paths collide in a complex chain of unprecedented events, their actions would ultimately lead to their inevitable demise ten minutes later.

In one of the largest and most epic films ever attempted by the finalists of Project Pilot and the Canon Film Festival with a cast and crew of over seventy people, Countdown is a fast-paced, intricately-spun and twisted action-thriller about the trappings of wanton greed, unavoidable causality, and most of all, ironic twists of fate.

10 Minutes. 3 People. 1 Destiny.

Please do enjoy the film and let me know if you have any comments, criticisms, feedback, suggestions, opinions, or hate - Anything goes. I wont take it personally so please do take the time to comment honestly. We would really appreciate it. Being only 16, we're looking forward to improving ourselves with your comments so fire away! Thanks.

Btw, as you probably realized, not all of our music is original so I am currently looking for composers before I send this around the festival circuit. Do feel free to contact me if you're interested. Thanks!

Great work, I really like what u have done and this is a pretty epic size film for a low budget indie film, and ur 16!!!! my word I see a great future ahead of u my friend.

The only real critism I have about the film is as u have said the acting in parts takes alittle away from the film but I gather u dont have the budget to hire proper actors.

but I congratulate you on this awesome project I have no doubt u will do some fantastic future projects, I will keep eye out for u guys in the future.

Well done, Great work

Kindest Regards Chris Haigh (Film Composer)

Hey thanks man. Really appreciate the kind words. Yeah no one was professional (As you can probably tell haha) - Just a bunch of classmates dedicated to a tough project heh. You're a film composer eh? I could REALLY use some help with the scoring of this movie. Would you happen to be interested?

As a result of an acute shortage of replies and views to this post and shamless thread bumping by our own crew, I've decided that perhaps the big ass download and laggy google videos are taking their toll on viewership (Or lack thereof)... So I decided to do a trailer:

Hopefully *fingers crossed* there'll be a greater incentive to watch the film now. Hmmph no offense to anyone but... Is it just me or is this forum pretty inactive?
