i am writing a screenplay and have some copyright questions.
one of my scenes involves a deposition i have seen on television. im using the same questions used by the prosecutor and some of the anwsers given by the accused are close to what i have used (this cant be helped given im using the same questions). This was a real life interview where the police were sueing a person. Do these interveiws have copyright on them or are they free to be duplicated.
Also, i was told that anything historical could not be copyrighted. What would you class as historical- or should say who does the classing and is there a place that list them.
thanks 8)
