Conversion .vob to .mov for FCP

Hi,

I have a DVD full of .VOB files which I don't need a program for to get on my mac. The problem is that I need to edit them in Final Cut Pro and that doesn't read .VOB files so I've spent all day trying to find a good way of converting these files. I've found many programs (inc. DiVa) but none work properly. One takes years, the other doesn't do sound etc.

Has anyone had this problem before and found a quick and easy way to solve this annoying problem?

yep, changing diva converter settings to suit our european needs! still no sound, but that doesn't really matter in this project
