TOHorror Fantastic Film Fest, long-lived independent genre film festival in Italy, is coming back with its 20th edition in 2020. It will be held from October 28 to November 1 at Cinema Massimo in Turin, in partnership with the Italian National Museum of Cinema.

The festival, born in 1999 "baptized" by Dario Argento, is now a main event in Italy, focused on fantastic and horror culture. After spreading in the last years with movies such as “Climax” by Gaspar Noé, “It Comes” by Tetsuya Nakashima, “Hail Satan?” by Penny Lane, “Knives and Skin” by Jennifer Reeder, “Tigers Are not Afraid” by Issa Lopez, and hosting guests as Richard Stanley, Jean Rollin, Hélène Cattet & Bruno Forzani, Rudy Riveron Sanchez, the team of the festival is currently working to celebrate the 20th anniversary in the best possible way.

As an independent festival, TOHorror truly cares about independent authors and new talents in underground cinema. Every year more than 40 short films coming from young directors all over the world are screened during the festival and during "satellites" events after the festival. Moreover, independent long feature films are always a very important part of the competition.

Submissions to TOHorror's international competition are open to:
