The third edition of the “Winter Photo Contest: From the Tropic to the Arctic” starts on the first official day of winter, December 22, 2023, and ends on the last official day of winter, March 20, 2024.
However, there is an “Early Bird” timeframe, between November 28, 2023, and December 21, 2023, where we are also accepting entries.
Prizes:
1st Place:
• An editorial featured in Student Filmmakers Magazine: Get your creative genius recognized far and wide! Your film will be featured in a special edition of our prestigious magazine.• You will be featured on StudentFilmmakers.com: Gain exposure with a feature on our high-traffic website.
• Certificate of Achievement, a trophy or plaque: A testament to your filmmaking prowess.

Winter Photo Contest 2024 Details
Photographers, filmmakers, and visual storytellers of all levels, from across the globe, are invited to participate in the Winter Photo Contest 2024. Entry to the contest is entirely free, encouraging a diverse range of talents to submit their creative works for consideration.
Contest Timeline:
- Contest Period: Friday, December 22, 2023, to Wednesday, March 20, 2024
- Finalists Photo Selections Sent to Judges: Monday, March 25, 2024
- Judges Submit Their Selections by: Monday, April 8, 2024

1) Create Your Free Account on StudentFilmmakers.com
2) Check Your Email for Verification
3) Log in to the website.
Part 2:
4) Head to the “Winter Photo Contest 2024” group on StudentFilmmakers.com
5) Post a new Discussion thread before the deadline (20’th March). Only 3 entries/person is allowed!
6) Upload your photo and the following details:
