A friend of mine and I were talking about going to business together. The business would basically be videographers for couples that are getting married. We'd basically go and film the wedding and reception and what not, compile the footage shot and then make a nice DVD or something for the couple to remember their wedding from a different perspective sorta deal. Thats the jists of it. Theres only one problem, we're both amateurs when it comes to this kind of thing (though we are confident we can make a very good product) we dont exactly have the equipment. So my question to you guys is this:
What kind of equipment would be needed ie: camera and lighting model and makes?
Where can we find this equipment and at what cost?
What kind of video editing software would be good for this type of work?
